Nakasongola District is a district in central Uganda. It borders the northern districts of Apac and Amolatar to the northwest and northeast respectively, Kayunga to the east, Luweero to the south, Nakaseke to the southwest, and Masindi to the northwest.

kilometres north of Kampala.
The former Attorney General (2011-2015) Peter Nyombi was born and lives, in the district. He is the member of parliament for Buruuli County.
