Mayuge is a district in eastern Uganda. It has six islands, inhabited by permanent and migratory fishermen.
It borders Iganga to the north, Jinja District to the west, Bugiri to the
northeast and Namayingo to the east, while the Republic of Tanzania lies to the
south of the district.
