Pader is a district in the Acholi sub-region. It was originally part of Kitgum. It is home for opposition politician Odonga Otto, who is a member of parliament for Aruu County in the district.
Pader district borders Lamwo to the northwest, Kitgum to
the northeast, Agago to the east, Otuke to the southeast,
Lira to the south, Oyam to the southwest and Gulu to
the west.
