It borders Kiboga district to the
north, Nakaseke to the northeast, Wakiso to the east, Mubende to the west, Mpigi to the southeast, and Butambala and Gomba
districts to the south.
This is the home district to former Uganda Police spokesperson Judith Nabakooba who is contesting to become the district woman member of parliament 2016-21.
