Masindi is a district in the Bunyoro sub-region in western Uganda. More than 50% of Murchison Falls National Park is in Masindi
district as well as Budongo Forest Reserve and Bugungu Wildlife Reserve.

Masindi borders Nwoya to the north, Kiryandongo to the east, Nakasongola and Nakaseke districts to the southeast, Kyankwanzi to the south, Hoima to the southwest and Bulisa to the northwest.
District Headquarters: Masindi, 220 kilometres west of Kampala.
