Maracha is a new district in the West Nile sub-region in Northern Uganda. It lies at the border with the Democratic Republic of the Congo which is to the west.
The district borders other districts in Uganda, including Koboko to the north, Yumbe to the
northeast, and Arua to the east and south.
District Headquarters: Maracha, 35 kilometres north of Arua.
