Kyegegwa is a relatively new district that was carved out of mainly Kyenjojo and Kibaale. It's in partly in Bunyoro and partly in Toro sub-regions of western Uganda.
It borders Kibaale to the north, Mubende to
the east, Kiruhura to the south, Kamwenge to the southwest
and Kyenjojo to the northwest.
District Headquarters: Kyegegwa, 110 kilometres east of Fort Portal.
