Kibaale is a western Uganda district which vast land, most of which was until recently forested. It's in the Bunyoro sub-region.
Outspoken member of parliament Barnabas Tinkasimire hails from Kibaale. He has been the representative for Buyaga county from 2006.
Kibaale borders Hoima to the north, Kyankwanzi to
the northeast, Mubende to the east, Kyegegwa to the
southeast, Kyenjojo and Kabarole to the southwest, and
Ntoroko to the west.
