Dokolo district is in the Lango sub-region in Northern Uganda. It is home district of Uganda People's Congress - UPC's historical leader and now FDC supporter Cecilia Ogwal.
Ms Ogwal is the district woman member of parliament 2011-2016.
Dokolo borders Lira to the northwest, Alebtong to
the northeast, Kaberamaido to the east and south, Amolatar to
the southwest, and Apac to the west.
District Headquarters: Dokolo, 60 kilometres southeast of Lira, the largest city in
the Lango sub-region.
