Butaleja District

Butaleja district is in the Eastern part of Uganda.

It borders Budaka to the north, Mbale to the east, Tororo to the southeast, Bugiri to the south and Namutumba to the west.

District Headquarters: Butaleja, 38 kilometres southwest of Mbale.
