Amuria District is in the north eastern Uganda. It's in the Teso sub-region.
It borders other districts, including Otuke to the north, Napak to the
northeast, Katakwi to the east, Soroti to the south,
Kaberamaido to the southwest, and Alebtong to the west.
District Headquarters: Amuria, 45 kilometres north of Soroti.
