Bukomansimbi district is located in central Uganda, bordering five other districts including Gomba to the
north, Kalungu to the east, Masaka to the southeast, Lwengo to the southwest and Sembabule to the northwest.
District Headquarters: Bukomansimbi 26
kilometres northwest of Masaka, and 150 kilometres southwest
of Kampala.

It became a district only in 2010. It was
formerly part of Masaka District.
