Mubende is a district in central Uganda. The district headquarters is 175 kilometres west of Kampala.

It borders Mityana to the east and six other districts - Kyankwanzi to the north, Kyegegwa to the southwest, Kibaale to the northwest, Kiboga to the northeast, and Gomba and Sembabule districts to the south.
