It borders Bugiri to the northwest, Busia to
the northeast, and Mayuge to the west and southwest, whereas the Republic of Kenya lies to the east and southeast and the Republic of
Tanzania to the south of the district.
District Headquarters: Namayingo, 95 kilometres southeast of Jinja and 38 kilometres south of Bugiri.
