Kumi district is in Eastern Uganda.
It borders Katakwi to the north, Nakapiripirit to the northeast, Bukedea to the east, Pallisa to
the south, and Ngora to the west.
District Headquarters: Kumi, 54 kilometres southeast of Soroti, the largest town
in Teso sub-region.
