Kitgum district is in the far North, bordering the Republic of South Sudan to the north.
In Uganda, Kitgum borders Kaabong to the
east, Kotido to the southeast, Agago to the south, Pader to the southwest and Lamwo to the northwest.
District Headquarters: Kitgum, 108 kilometres northeast of Gulu.
